Seven Kingdoms: Seowyn's Crossing
Mikael Adelani was the popular mayor of Seowyn’s Crossing from 1155 to 1163. Only 25 when he took the office, he had also served a brief stint as the head of the militia. During the 1155 election, Adelani narrowly beat the local scholar Aldurun Gildenstar. His vigorous pursuit of returning the town to its former glory as a crossroads of trade made him more and more popular, and he went on to run essentially uncontested in the 1160 election. He married Eirene Ableby, and it was assumed he had a long, happy life ahead of him. Unfortunately, in 1163, he was slain by Gristameri raiders near Hallowir’s Watch during an inspection to see if the keep could be salvaged.
His wife, Eirene, went on to serve as lady mayor until the election of 1165. In 1170, she ran her own campaign. She is currently serving her second term.
Mikael was only survived by his wife. He had no children of his own.
