Seven Kingdoms: Seowyn's Crossing
Brom Furrow was a young Human living on a farm on the northern edges of Seowyn’s Crossing, the son of Luther Furrow and his wife Marta. In the summer of 1068 SKR, he joined with several friends to form a group called the Fire Wasps. He shared with them his dreams of being an Adventurer and his fantastic hiding place, the Castle of the Old Ones. Over the years, Brom assumed something of a leadership role amongst the Fire Wasps, and he was always the moral compass about how adventurers should act, especially towards the others of their company. He became an apprentice to Captain Holloway Larkwell of the Road’s End garrison, and he seemed destined to become a Fighter.
In the early winter days of 1075 SKR, however, Brom discovered the hard way that he lacked Pneuma, the breath of heroes, that allowed adventurers to heal their wounds. He died trying to oust a band of rogue goblins that had invaded the Castle of the Old Ones. His death seemed to trigger something in the strange green crystals found in the Castle, however, as these animated upon his death to help the Fire Wasps fight off the invaders. When the last goblin was dead, however, the crystals lost their cohesion and became a scattered formation again.
Brom was laid to rest on his family farm, but it’s certain that his friends will always carry his memory with them on their adventures.
